About

Erin Davison is a seasoned Nonprofit leader, Erin has over 25 years of fundraising, grant writing, program design and development, community outreach, and human resources experience. In her previous position as CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Louisiana, Erin built a strong foundation of quality excellence within the organization, implemented new technology for virtual enrollment and mentoring practices, streamlined processes and created efficiencies with BBBS service and delivery, created and implemented MentorU, an innovative curriculum based group mentoring and 1-1 program in Calcasieu Parish, launched the Big Defender Fund (endowment) in partnership with the Community Foundation of Southwest Louisiana and grew a stagnant organization with a $600k operating budget with five staff serving three Parishes to a thriving mid-size nonprofit with a $1.5 million operating budget with 13 staff serving 7 Parishes in Southwest and Central Louisiana. 

Erin received the 2024 Angel Honoree Award from the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation, the 2024 Jack V Doland Citizen of the Year award from the Women's Commission of Southwest Louisiana, is a Founding Member of the Impact Uprising with We Are For Good, a member of the Forbes Nonprofit Council, a graduate of the 2023 Leadership Louisiana class through CABL, Chamber SWLA Women’s Business Network Advisory Council, a Graduate of the Chamber SWLA Leadership Class of 2018, Chamber SWLA Volunteer of the Year 2012, Thrive Magazine Thriving Thirty-Somethings Class 2013, Thrive 2019 Leading Ladies in Business, is a member of the Republican party and an advocate for youth and families in SWLA and Louisiana, among many other community and civic activities.  She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a Minor in Social Work. Erin has been married to her husband Chad for 25 years, has three children and three grandchildren, two dogs and two cats.  She loves NASCAR, reading, traveling in her camper, and relaxing with her family and friends.
