Heather Hohensee serves as the Director of Government and Public Affairs for Tellurian Inc. Heather represents the Houston based company in the state of Louisiana and in Southwest Louisiana where the company’s proposed multi-billion-dollar Driftwood LNG project is to be located. In her role, Heather manages government and public affairs activities with key stakeholders at the state and local levels as well as with industry and business associations. In addition, Heather is responsible for Tellurian’s local corporate social responsibility strategy and philanthropic portfolio. Heather is the first full-time employee with Tellurian Inc. to be located in Southwest Louisiana. 

Prior to joining Tellurian in 2017, Heather served for two years as the Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Louisiana. Before that, she was a Brand Manager with Procter & Gamble for almost 10 years based in Europe, including Rome, Italy and Geneva, Switzerland, where she was responsible for developing business and communication strategies across several product categories for global and country specific launches.

Heather is a Board Member of the World Trade Center of New Orleans, a member of the Committee of 100, and a sustaining member of Ellevate Louisiana. She also sits on the advisory council of McNeese State University School of Business and is a graduate of both the Chamber SWLA Leadership Class (2016) and CABL Leadership Louisiana Class (2020).

Originally from Oklahoma, Heather has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma State University, an MBA from St. John’s University’s Rome, Italy campus, and an MBA advanced studies certificate in International Organizations from University of Geneva, Switzerland.
