Laurie Morrow serves as Executive Director for Economic Development and University Advancement at Northwestern State University, as well as Executive Director of the Northwestern State University Foundation. In her dual leadership capacity, she provides strategic vision for advancing the university’s growth, business partnerships, and philanthropic engagement.

As Executive Director of the NSU Foundation, Laurie leads University Advancement efforts, directing major gifts, institutional fundraising initiatives, and programs to support student scholarships, academic excellence, and campus innovation. Concurrently, she oversees NSU’s regional instructional sites in Alexandria, Leesville, Marksville, Fort Polk, and Barksdale Air Force Base. In her economic development role, Laurie serves as the university's principal catalyst for expanding regional industry partnerships and collaborative workforce solutions.

Prior to joining Northwestern State, Laurie spent over 20 years in various strategic leadership roles within the Louisiana Community and Technical College.

Deeply committed to community leadership and service, Laurie serves as Vice-Chair of the Natchitoches Economic Development Alliance and the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce and is a board member of the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center Foundation. She is also a founding member of Pink Sisters of Sabine, Inc., an organization dedicated to supporting women newly diagnosed with breast cancer.
