Rep. Jack McFarland

Political Background:

Elected to the  Winn Parish Police Juror in 2007 where he served as District 4 Jury President for 8 years.

Past President, Louisiana Logging Council Member of American Logging Board

Rep. McFarland was elected as a State Representative and serves District 13. His district includes, Bienville, Jackson, Ouachita, and Winn Parishes. He currently is serving his 2^nd term. He serves as Chairman of Agriculture, Forestry, Aquaculture, and Rural Development Committee. He also is a member of Appropriations, and Joint Legislative Budget Committees.

Personal:

Jack is married to Shelly McFarland and they have 2 kids, Jackson who attends Nichols State University and Macy who is a Junior at Winnfield High School.

Erich Ponti

Erich Ponti is the Executive Director of the Louisiana Asphalt Pavement Association (LAPA) and the President of the Louisiana Coalition To Fix Our Roads (as known as LCFOR).

In 1994, Erich started Accent Construction Services, Inc.  Accent Construction specialized in residential and commercial construction for 21 years.  Before becoming Executive Director of the Louisiana Asphalt Pavement Association in 2015, Erich served from 2008 – 2015 (two-terms) in the Louisiana House of Representatives.  In his first term as State Representative, he served as the Chairman of the Committee on Labor and Industrial Relations.  In his second-term, Erich served as the Chairman of the Committee on Commerce.
