Allyson Bennett, MSN, RN serves as Chief Nursing Officer at Lane Regional Medical Center, where she provides strategic nursing leadership, oversees clinical operations, and advances the organization's commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care.
A Zachary native, Allyson has dedicated more than 32 years to healthcare and has been a valued member of Lane Regional Medical Center's leadership team for many years. Prior to being named Chief Nursing Officer, she served as Chief Quality Officer and previously as Quality Director, leading initiatives that improved surgical site infection rates, addressed social determinants of health, expanded breast cancer awareness efforts, and enhanced the hospital's overall quality performance and patient outcomes.
Allyson earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern University and her Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University. She is certified in Nursing Professional Development and is widely recognized for her commitment to nursing excellence, clinical education, and leadership. Her honors include the Louisiana State Nurses Association's Clinical Nurse Educator of the Year Award, the Baton Rouge District Nurses Association's Celebrate Nursing Award, and Lane Regional Medical Center's Employee of the Year Award.
