Hannah Smith Mason is an artist, business leader, and public servant whose work reflects her passion for creativity, community, and the culture of the Gulf Coast South. As a multidisciplinary artist, Hannah creates original works using watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, mixed media, and found objects, drawing inspiration from the landscapes, traditions, and people that surround her. She is also a sought-after live event painter, creating custom works at weddings, charitable events, and community gatherings.

Alongside her artistic career, Hannah serves on the Lafayette Parish School Board and as Business Development and Community Outreach Director for her family's company, Smith Mason & Co., where she helps cultivate partnerships and strengthen community engagement. Her professional and civic leadership reflects a deep commitment to education, economic development, and preserving the unique cultural heritage of Louisiana.

Having grown up in an international oil and gas family, Hannah developed a lifelong appreciation for travel and diverse perspectives, often carrying her watercolors wherever she goes. She earned her degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and is a graduate of Lafayette High School. Hannah and her husband are raising their three children between Lafayette, Louisiana, and Natchez, Mississippi, where they remain dedicated to community leadership, the arts, and creating a lasting cultural legacy.
