Leslie Durham, born and reared in Tensas Parish, is the Executive Director for Louisiana Infrastructure Technical Assistance Corporation (LITACorp). Mrs. Durham is the former Alternate Federal Co-Chairwoman for the Delta Regional Authority, appointed by President Joe Biden. Durham has also served as DRA Designee for Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco and Governor John Bel Edwards. On behalf of Gov Edwards, Durham served on the following commissions and committees: Broadband for Everyone in Louisiana Commission, chairperson, Rural Water Infrastructure Committee, chairperson, Rural Revitalization Commission, rural broadband chairperson, 4.9 GHz Spectrum Task Force, Jobs for American Graduates Louisiana Board of Directors, and Delta Agriculture Research and Sustainability District.
Mrs. Durham is a double graduate of the Delta Leadership Institute Executive Academy and the Authentic Leadership Executive Education Program – Harvard University’s John F Kennedy School of Government. On July 31, 2021, Leslie was awarded the Louisiana Municipal Association’s President’s Award for her years of commitment to Louisiana Local Governments.
Leslie, married to Mike “Bull” Durham, has three children Kellon, Maggie and Morgan Lee, three stepchildren Michael, Beth and Kate Durham and three granddaughters, Caroline and Charlotte Durham and Giles Grace Lee.
